Kinja'd!!!

I have always done something to my work cars when semi-annually cleaning them out. Cut the top off, remove passenger seat & carpet, this time I removed the rear seat. And along with that the ability the bare children.

Oppo parents know you can not strap a child under 80# in the front seat with safety mechanisms in place such as airbags. So equinox is now strictly for work. An appliance to get me & tools to job sites.

I would consider removal of the front passenger seat as well, but saving it for a rare occasion as tomorrow when I have a coworker as a passenger.

I do plan on taking a piece of plywood or OSB and leveling out the section ahead of the rear cargo space that was under the seat then outline that with 2X4's to make a sort of parapet to keep tool buckets and work bags where they belong.

It’s a lot more spacious than the Metro.
