Kinja'd!!!

Got most of the components back on my 440ci tonight. I had let it sit for far too long without really cleaning it. I had fogged it back before I stored it. Luckily the inside is still in good condition internally.

The copper pipes on the front are for a coolant passage flushing setup I built. I had only ever used water with the system on the test stand and stupidly left it open to the elements for 3 years. So once I got back to it again, I built my flushing rig and used a 5 gallon bucket of Evap-O-Rust to cycle it through the system at 250°F. It worked great and all I need to do now is flush it with clean water and top off with coolant to protect it for good.

Here is a link to the page at the shop where the car is getting done. Hot Rod Factory - 1968 Plymouth GTX . Originally an Automatic car, but it is getting converted to a manual with a Tremec 5 speed.

Motor is 400hp and 500 lb-ft of torque on an engine dyno.

Can I have it instead? I know of a ‘69 Dart Swinger Scat pack that could use a 100ci bump.

440 Darts are fun to listen to. Although, you might as well make an SS clone and drop a 426 in there.
