It had been about three years since I visited the abandoned town of Daniels, Maryland, but I went back this weekend. In 2014, I found the rusted remains of a 1958 Rambler Six and a 1960 Chevrolet Biscayne. This time, I ventured a little further into the woods and discovered a little red sportscar and a blue overturned sedan of some sort. Can anyone tell me what they are?
I am thinking this might be some kind of MG, but am hoping you can tell me:
This next one is a lot harder, since it’s upside-down and in bad shape. But maybe someone can spot a clue?
I also found this circa-1950 Pontiac hubcap:
...which came home with me.

The first one is a Mk1 Spitfire. You can tell it’s a Mk1 buy the lights and bumper.

It might be an Alpine. No clue on the second one.

Second car is a ‘53-ish Chevorlet 150 or 210 4-door sedan, not likely a Bel Air as the Bel Air had more trim. Pic of a non-Bel Air, note that the one below doesn’t have the trim running down the side of the car but it was an option for them:

I’ve also found a ’53 Cadillac hubcap, a vintage Turtle Wax bottle, and a porcelain sign from an old gas pump that says “contains lead.” Just to name a few things. There were a lot of illegal dumping grounds in the 50s, 60s, and 70s before Johnny Law started to crack down on them.

That’s awesome. I’ve always wanted to find an old bottle dump or something.

This ’54 Chevy 210 sedan looks like it could be a match.

Yep, after most of it was washed away in 1972 by Hurricane Agnes.
