Went to the drag strip Friday night where they had their scales working and available. So the BRZ (2014 Limited, manual) with me in it, 3/4 tank, bag of tools and other junk in the car, was right at 3080 lbs. I was unable to get out to see what the car weighed by itself, but I’m about 210, so that would put the car right around2870lbs. Sounds about right.
Anybody else have actual weights for their cars?

Jealous! I’ve wanted to weigh my Miata for a long time now. It’d be interesting to see what the 323 GTX weighs, too.

It seems every time I’ve been to that drag strip that the scales weren’t working, so this is my first time using them. Also first time with the BRZ there.
I’d be interested in seeing what a 323 weighs too... head to a drag strip or local shop and report back, please

Last time I was at the track my car with me in it was exactly 5,000 lbs. To push that much weight to a 13.9@99 mph is pretty decent IMO!

Ah, figured it might be an older car. Although newer cars are getting up there too:
2013 Ford Taurus 4,037 pounds
2013 BMW 740i Sedan
4,344 pounds
2014 Porsche Panamera
3,968 pounds (thought this would be heavier)

I’m surprised to see the Taurus up there, I thought that was a lighter car. The others don’t really surprise me. A 2011 Cadillac DTS is 4,009 lbs curb but that’s a really big car.
Also interesting as I look at the big car weights - the Cadillac DTS (big Deville) is FWD, the STS is RWD and about the same size, but almost 100 lbs lighter than the DTS.
