News of this seemed to get out bizarrely slow. I checked the news before bed at around 11 CST/12 EST and it wasn’t there despite occurring around 8 EST yet it was the top headline now while I’m eating breakfast.

We heard about this quite quickly on the BBC.
Of all the places I’m sort of ‘trained’ to hear this from, I didn’t expect Canada to be anywhere on the list of one of them.
I have this nagging feeling things are going to get quite a bit worse before they get better.

Quebec is a very mixed bag and I have mixed feelings about it as Montreal (where I live) is far more liberal and believes in supporting everyone and anyone. Like many places in the States or Canada, rural parts (which Quebec has a massive population in) and more xenophobic areas which are typically french has some old mentality remaining and it’s very sad to see.

It is a real shame to see people like that.
In this day and age I can’t believe people are still behaving that way to their fellow Man. You’d of thought we’d of learned from the past and learned to get on with our own lives but now, no, we put more and more labels on each other.
Hell. I’m classed as an atheist, rosexual (over weight and hairy), cisgender male (born male, identifies as male).
As far as I’m concerned I’m a male, anything else is not of anyone elses concern but my own. I don’t concern myself with anyone elses looks, gender, age, religion, ethnicity, etc...
