Hey Oppo! Here’s the second manufacturer in my series from NAIAS, Toyota! I hope you enjoy it!

Kinja'd!!!

Kinja'd!!!

First up are the Tundra and 4Runner TRD Pro Editions. I like these, but they’re nothing compared to the Raptor and Wrangler, and hopefully the Bronco sets higher expectations then this. It’s not that they’re bad, they’re just not as capable. Also, I had a picture of the Tacoma TRD Pro but it doesn’t want to work...but I’m assuming we all know what a Tacoma looks like.

Kinja'd!!!

Then there’s this thing...I honestly forgot the name. It looks futuristic sure, but hopefully cars like this in the future will look at least a little better...

Kinja'd!!!

Kinja'd!!!

Next up is the Toyota Mirai. I like this car, even though it looks a little weird, I’d still take it over the Prius any day.

Kinja'd!!!

Speaking of Priuses, I found this one not too far away from the Mirai. Anyone have any idea what racing series this car could be for? (I really hoped it was going to be the SuperGT Prius, but it’s Detroit..so that’ll never happen).

Kinja'd!!!

Kinja'd!!!

Continuing the theme of race cars, there was this pretty cool looking GT86 race car next to the Prius. I know some people think it’s a bad car or it’s ugly, but I like it, especially in this form.

Kinja'd!!!

Then there was this Toyota Sienna from the SEMA show, and this almost was my favorite car at the Toyota stand. I just can’t help but loving the idea of a really fast minivan to haul my future kids in. And it’s blue!

Kinja'd!!!

Continuing with the SEMA theme, here’s a Toyota Corolla from the SEMA show. I must say, this was also almost my favorite car at the Toyota stand, simply because the idea of a really fast Corolla sounds amazing (even if it looks a little out of place). And with the idea of a Corolla GTI possibly on the horizon, I’m excited.

Kinja'd!!!

And being a Corolla owner, I of course found a new Corolla and compared it to my own (it’s so strange looking except the blue but it’s soooo much nicer than mine on the inside).

Kinja'd!!!

Then there was the Camry. Not gonna lie, even though it looks weird, I like the grille on this hybrid (that’s right right?)

Kinja'd!!!

Then here’s a “sporty” looking XSE Camry. I really wish it had a turbo V6...then I might just consider it.

Kinja'd!!!

And of course, there was the 2018 NASCAR Camry, which I actually like, except for the fact that the only thing resembling the production car is the front...

Kinja'd!!!

But by far my favorite car at Toyota’s stand was this 2017 NASCAR Camry, which I think is a replica of Denny Hamlin’s Daytona 500 winning car with a working door.

Kinja'd!!!

Kinja'd!!!

I loved the inside of that car, it felt like home! And the engine on display looked pretty sweet too.

Kinja'd!!!

So that’s Toyota at the Detroit Auto Show, I hope you enjoyed it! Part 3 should be coming within the next couple of days! Thanks Oppo!

It was a SEMA car, the Prius G. It was modded to do 1.00 g on the skidpad, and IIRC it did 0.99 g. Close enough?

Not for any racing series, though. (It would’ve been nice if one of the Super GT Prii were brought over, though...)

I took a quick detour into the Toyota stand to glance at the new Camry .... still very okay with that decision. The only thing pleasing in these photos was the color on the trucks.

Nice! I guess that’s a fitting name for it then
