Spotted at the mall while leaving. I’ve seen a few before already (one last night, in fact), but here’s the first one that I’ve gotten a good photo of—obviously not including ones I’ve taken at the auto show.
I included a Forza pic to compensate for not having a photo of the back. It’s more or less the same car.

I saw on a Porsche fan web sight a license plate holder that tucks under the front of the car. From what I understand from the site, in NY they don’t stop you for no front plate, but they will ticket your car if it is parked on the street with no front plate. To avoid messing up the front bumper on the front of the Porsches to fit US sized plates it mounts underneath. When the car is off it is up, legally displayed. Start the car and it tucks up under the front of the car, giving it the proper clean lines and no holes in the bumper from mounting you plates. Many people wire in a switch so that at car shows they can drop the plate down.

The one that’s in my area has the license plate number “IM MR T”. I’ve seen the driver a couple places, he’s basically Rodney Dangerfield’s character from Caddyshack. I parked next to him at a restaurant once, came out to find him leaning against my car while showing some other folks around the I8.
