I found a Miller Cycle Mazda Millenia at the local Columbia Pull-A-Part! 2.3 liters of supercharged V6 fury producing 210hp! Look at that complex and hard to work on setup!
The body had little to no damage so I think engine or transmission failure did this one in.
Anyone know what twin-screw supercharger it uses? It looks odd when I’m used to seeing big fat SC’s on V8s!

Not a twin screw, uses an Eaton M62.

the confusion is understandable; Roots blowers have increased the amount of helix angle of the rotors considerably over the years.
the old style with straight lobed rotors were incredibly noisy:

The straight style roots blower in my MR2 is actually irritatingly quiet. Barely any whine at all.

whine comes from the gears, not the rotors. helical gears are quiet; straight cut spur gears are noisy.

One of these should go good in a Fiero. Just, I’m not gonna do it.
