You lower the front attachment, & lift the front wheels.

Putting the blower down will usually hold ours well enough not to bother with the actual handbrake. When parking it after use I’ll put the bucket on the ground as well just in case while still not reaching for the annoyingly placed handbrake.

My dad always uses the handbrake and I’ll forget to release it half the time when I drive it after him.

The blower on the back won’t hold ours in place.

Ours likely weighs 1000+ lbs, it helps make it a fairly effective brake, even on a 10000 lb tractor.

Is that how you do tractor burnouts, too?

Interestingly, the actual parking brake on that tractor apparently has a design flaw: http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/massey-ferguson-owning-operating/175414-gc-parking-brake-popped-out.html

Our tractor is only a few 1600lbs, the blower is only 300lbs at the most.

That blower is the shit tho. My neighbor has plowed his driveway down to about 5' wide. I did a sympathy pass with my snow blower to widen it out a bit.

It’s not wide enough. It is as wide as the rear track width (48"), if it was 60" wide it be perfect.
