(O.C. suspects that Mr. Trump is actually talking to Mr. Putin’s translator. O.C. also wonders whether Mr. Trump remembers that Bill Clinton famously drank Diet Coke whilst being interviewed following the Monica Lewinsky Cigar Incident.)

I’d still choose Diet Pepsi over Diet Coke. Maybe I’ll get a chance to visit the U.K. before I die, or before humanity is eradicated by thermonuclear war. My wife and I watch lots of British crime dramas on Netflix that take place in far flung and beautiful and sometimes desolate places that we’d like to explore a bit for ourselves.

100% on the diet Pepsi, in fact I’m drinking Pepsi Max Cherry right now. The beauty if visiting the UK it’s so much smaller than the US so you can see a lot in a small amount of time. You should coordinate a visit with either the Festival of Speed or Goodwood Revival.
I’ve visited Orlando and Kennedy Space centre, and me and my Fiancée are intending to go back to the US for our Honeymoon to NYC for one week and another week in another location which is TBC. I loved it, but appreciate I was in a touristy area.
Given the exchange rates at the moment it’s more likely we will have to Honeymoon in Europe, we did a 5 day vacation in Barcelona last year for $250 each (flights, hotel, transport in that price) where just flights to the US would be $500.

If you visit NYC, be sure to devote some time to the High Line Park. I haven’t had a chance to visit yet, but it’s first on my list of things to see in NYC.
Yeah, it’s probably unlikely that my wife and I will ever return to Europe. We were both stationed in Würzburg, Germany, in the late 80s, and that’s how we met. Never made it across the Channel, though. We are both excluded from donating blood because the UK was selling beef to the US Army in those days and we are at risk for transmitting Mad Cow Disease. My wive was damn near vegan in those days, and has type-O blood, so she donates anyway.
As European destinations go, I’d personally never visit Spain because of my view of the inhumanity of bull fighting, and of the cruelty of the conquistadors . Shallow view, one might argue...
On my honeymoon, we didn’t get very far from the hotel...

Absolutely terrified.
I mean, past the election there was some holdouts (myself included off and on) thinking “nah, that was all campaign speak, we’ll be just fine!” but now with the whirlwind of everything that’s happening (the Muslim ban is already hitting Miss Tesla’s family directly), there is a bit of a panic going on.
Miss Tesla and I realized that we cannot move (my career is in a good place and there really isn’t an option for relocation) and that we’ll have to weather whatever storm is heading our way. And, despite protesting and calling legislators every moment possible, what’s going to happen is going to happen. Obviously, even the ACLU stepping in the way isn’t stopping the Trump Train.
And, there’s so much misinformation flying around and “opinions” fueled by falsehoods it’s just so hard fighting it all. Now, if I present cold hard facts, they get ignored simply because it doesn’t “feel” correct, therefore they can’t be correct. Or, because people seem to want the news to present two sides (instead of what’s actually right), they use this to excuse having an opinion based in misinformation or hate. It’s deliberate ignorance, deliberate anti-intellectualism.
So while we figure out how to fight this, I’ve resolved myself to knowing if there were to be something like a national restroom law, I’d break it every single day if I had to. Following such law would put me in danger.

Political speak seems to make Oppo at ends with each other, especially right now. What I meant for “fitting of Oppo” was meant for me keeping political discussion on the down low, at least for this brief moment. :)
ETA: I would have written a rather large assessment of why not a single freedom loving person should not be voting Trump or why not a single LGBTQ person should be doing the same, but since I don’t have authorship at somewhere like Groupthink, I’ll likely end up putting it on my Medium page.

Right, but the blue can is the old aspartame blend. They brought it out when so many people complained. It is a bit hard to find. I can tolerate the new blend but the blue one is way better.
