Kinja'd!!!

Backstory: I sold my wife’s last car to my best friend who is not mechanically motivated, and owns no tools. It’s my fault because I’ve been the one hounding him about the severely worn brakes and offering to help.

(The car was named Walter by my wife because my that’s my father-in-law’s middle name. Now you know.)

I have no photo dump or shitty walkthrough to post like I usually do, when doing even the simplest of tasks on vehicles. It took me not even 30 minutes to do both front wheels. The rotors we’re flawless, much to my surprise. There were no obstacles like a stuck lugnut is a stripped caliper bolt. We took it out, drove it hard, and it stopped like a new car.

He did bring me some really nice beer to show his gratitude. I only got through a few ounces before the job was completed. I am not used to things being so easy.

But now... NOW... I am finally sitting down and doing nothing. The only goal I had for the day.

Doesn’t this mean that you must have forgotten to torque something down. It’s never that easy...is it?

I took the GMAT and then bought very expensive beer so.... I feel you. But tonight I’m going out and partying like a college kid.
