Some friends of my mom spent years restoring an E9 3.0 CSi to absolute perfection. Ages spent tracking down NOS parts, even trips to Germany to source the correct period materials for the interior. Less than two months after completing the restoration someone ran a red light and T-boned this beautiful car...
