They discuss his latest project, Queer4Cars.com , where that name originated (it’s not just for queer car enthusiasts), the surprisingly high number of LGBTQ automotive journalists, and whether certain cars are male or female. They also talk about William’s history of unusual cars, the awesomeness of minivans, whether the Mercedes G-Wagen is worth the price, left lane hogs, real Jeeps, real Porsches, and whether two-stroke Saabs were actually refugees from the Soviet Union. Finally they discuss William’s current projects, his dream project, his favorite and least favorite cars, and get some previews of coming attractions for 2017.

I’m going to have to give that a listen this weekend. FWIW, I’ve always liked to consider RWD cars as male, and FWD ones as female. (I haven’t made up my mind about what that means for AWD, so feel free to decide that for yourself haha.) Can’t wait to hear the episode!

A friend of mine believes that manuals are male, automatics are female. Why? Because in a manual you fondle a stick.
I suppose that would make auto-to-manual and manual-to-auto swaps transgender.
