So I popped by my local smokehouse to treat myself and coworkers to a nice lunch on a Friday after a stressful week. Somewhat cramped parking lot, but usually not terrible. Today wasn’t usual. Some cretin in a Volvo road tractor decided to pull through the empty parking spaces at the end of the row and completely block off the aisle, as well as blocking in a couple people.
Eagerly awaiting 5pm so I can go home and hide from civilization for a couple days.

I get that it won’t fit in a single space, I really do. But parking in the aisle like that is not an option. When you’re driving something that big, you have to EXPECT that you’ll need to take up more than one spot, and ACCEPT that the only place you’re going to find multiple open spaces to do that is probably going to be at the back of the parking lot.

Thats the worst thing! He had two empty spots behind him that were actually designated parking places, that would’ve left him no further from the building than where he ended up. Eyeball measurement told me it would’ve fit just fine, certainly a hell of a lot better than just capping the aisle off. Even aside from that, all the spaces perpendicular to the road were open, he could’ve pulled in and taken three or four of them, and still only been 15' further away.
