So, this is a JC Leisure Hijetta, which is based on a Daihatsu Hijet... as in the kei van. (This might be Torchbait?) I’ve shamelessly stolen the photos from this eBay listing .
And here’s an exterior view...
So, in the footprint of a literal kei car (although this one isn’t kei legal, it’s got a 1000 cc engine), they’ve gotten a camper van with room to sleep two (although one occupant’s feet are under the sink and cooktop), a fair amount of seating area (including what looks like a place to stick a table), and a sink and a cooktop.
This postage stamp of a photo I found on Pinterest, to the left, shows a bit more of the layout. Under-bed storage, too! And, per this review , there’s a porta potty hiding somewhere, for when you really have to go.
Really, what more do you need?

Single person? Check that second bed, two can sleep in this one. (It’d be nice if there were a bed configuration that joined the halves, because, really, you’re going to be sleeping very close with whoever it is anyway, so why not enable cuddling?)

Oh, I know it can sleep two, but it would be very cramped unless you knew the person REALLY well. I just meant if you were one of the adventuresome types that likes to go out and travel the world yourself, this little fella would make a decent home away from home!
