First thing first, thank god it wasn’t the blower itself, I had that replaced a year ago. Just like I thought, it had something to do with the fuses, the prongs that hold the fuse had slack in them so that after enough bumbs, the fuse would be slightly dislodged and try to complete the circuit with it’s plastic, turning it brown. So I ripped out the now half brown fuse, grabbed my rubber gripped pliers and start bending the prongs back into proper shape, then grabbed a new one out of my huge pile of spare fuses and put it in, all was good. Never hurts to carry extra fuses, or in my case, about 10 of each type

Haha, I completely forgot the rest of the world is having a winter, south California only hit low 30 this week, just cold enough to stop me from opening my trunk without a small love tap to the button.

I think it’s easiesr to replace a blower motor in a house than in a car.

Ah, I think the ones in my parents house are under 25, so they weren’t hard to take apart.
