The Avro Arrow is still amazing. I figure if you like planes, it’s good to know about the history of this jet.
Also, apparently a few years ago the idea was put forth to build a new Arrow instead of Canada buying F-35s . While not a good idea, it’s still a better one than buying F-35s.

Overheard an older guy talking about the Arrow one time. He said that it was tragic that the Arrow was cancelled, but we got Apollo, the 747 and Concorde out of the deal as the engineers scattered. Always liked that take on the situation, as the pieces of the Arrow that are left are beautiful.
