Kinja'd!!!

About a year ago dad mentioned he wanted a little lawn tractor to push snow around. I happened to be in the right place at the right time and snagged an old Ford that they were going to scrap at my old workplace. It ran but not too well. Mom was very not happy to see this get delivered.

What a machine it’s turned into! It runs and rides like new. And since Dad has a toy to play with Mom is actually very happy. He’s working on getting all of the factory decals and the correct Ford blue seat now. He says it plows the drive and walks with no problems too.

Now he wants an old Cub Cadet or Wheelhorse to play with too.

Its always cool to see someone put so much effort into fixing/restoring something of almost no value instead of buying new.

Wow, looking good. Did he replace all of that fiberglass or is it a repaint? I would assume that would be a machine you couldn’t even get parts for anymore.

All steel panels except for the “control center” under the seat. That was cracked. Pop managed to weld it back together enough to be presentable.
