As a lifelong BMW aficionado, I don’t want to say it, but I actually kind of like it.

Well if it wasn’t wrong wheel drive, I would trade Valka like yesterday. It is the perfect form factor, but I want it RWD 6MT with a 1.5L 3-cyl.

The current 318i F30 LCI is RWD with the 1.5L turbo 3 and the 6 speed manual. It’s a damn shame they don’t sell it here.

Here’s to hope the earlier rumours about a RWD 2 Gran Coupe is true. Add the liftback and RWD and it’s perfection, resurrection of the 3 ti.

Well in one of the pics you can see this one is a 120i, so it’s the B48 4-cyl still. It’s the 118i that has the 3-cyl.

I thought those were only made in China. BMW said none of their cars would be FWD, just like they said M cars wouldn’t come with turbos, or be AWD, or have autos.

At least *shudders* it’s probably the best-looking car built in China.

Whatever that means

Yup, the barbarians are at the gate (metaphorically speaking)...imo Bob Lutz nails it, explains it, and, in (regrettable) truth closes the door on BMW AG in one brilliant, brief paragraph (“Go Lutz Yourself,” Road & Track , July, 2016).

*smh* *sobs*

Thanks for the post, hadn’t seen (just wishing it were possible to un-know)
