The BMW 3 series GT is growing on me. It’s got the space we need to do family duties, even the 328 is pretty fast, a good automatic(must for the wife), and we should be able to find a 2014 in budget when we start shopping.

Also, we should have a new cat in our house in the next week or two. We gave our daughter a book and collar for Christmas as a way of letting her know if she really wanted one, we’d do it. But even though our landlord agreed to let us get a cat, she dragged her feet on getting us the paperwork so it’s taken a bit to get to this point. We are hopefully visiting two on Thursday.

I like the 3-series GT! I think it’s quite practical, decent looking, and a great alternative to an SUV or van, or crossover. And they can be had in RWD too (I think)!

My ex gf called me this evening. I didn’t answer her call.
Then she emailed me. She wanted her book The Ethical Slut back.
I forgot I still had it. I hope I can find it.
Though I’m wondering if she’s using this as an excuse to see me again... I can see her doing that.
Back when we split up, she wanted us to hang onto eachothers house keys... which is not something I do with someone who isn’t family or not a serious gf. But she wanted to hang onto my house key as a way of staying connected... which I wasnt game for.
Last time I saw her was back in October after she left my place in a huff after finding that I wasn’t receptive at all to what she was saying after the BS she pulled.
Though I wouldn’t mind seeing her again, I have been focusing on moving on. Seeing her could be counterproductive.
I’ve seen other women since... but haven’t gotten serious with any of them.
A couple of weeks ago I went on a movie date with one woman and I thought it went well. But then she got “too busy” to get together. So I deliberately cut back my contact with her. This has resulted in her initiating contact with me after I gave up on her... And after I started talking to two other women... one who I’ve seen once and it went well (and will see again this Friday) and the other who I’m going to see Thursday.
So I could potentially be juggling 4 women in the coming weeks. This may sound great, but I I’m not so sure. It could turn into a time management challenge very quickly.
I’m completely undecided as to who I’ll get serious with... or if I’ll get serious with any of them. Though I would rule out the ex gf right off the bat I think.

All the pet rescue places around here require written approval from a landlord so that they don’t end up taking the cats back when a landlord finds a pet that’s not supposed to be there. And we are trying to go through a place where all the cats are with foster families, and you cant visit the cats until you show the papers so you’re not wasting the foster families time.

The funny thing is I’ve considered trying to find a 3 series coupe to trade for my 944 to fit my 2.5 year old better, but at this point I’m just thinking she’ll be in a booster soon enough and she will be more comfortable.
But the Gt would replace our Ford freestyle. It’s too big and slow.
