Browsing craigslist when I come across this neat truck topper. I’ve never seen one like this before.

You know what I want for a topper? A collapsible hard shell. Similar to say, a Rubbermaid shed in construction. I just want a quick easy cover for winter, that allows full height of the bed, and doesn’t take over my garage when I store it.

It’s only four or five segments short of completely disappearing like helmets and armor do in the movies.

Hm, I’m guessing that there’s an overlapping lip & bulb seal where the two halves meet. Since the rear portion slides, those tracks have to be aligned just right to keep it from binding up. You’d also have to be careful not to damage the (aluminum?) tracks while tossing firewood or tools in the back.

Super neat design, though!
