Another thing from my visit to a Mecum Auto Auction.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
Based on a 250cc Yamaha Catalina, there were 4 of these made for the original show. It included the really weird detachable side car(literally, a tiny car) that Robin rides.
They added a filler cap to the sidecar, but no motor or running gear, but they did included a fake exhaust pipe. So it was TV ready, but otherwise less exciting than it could be.
Who wouldn’t love a handful of horsepower on a 40 pound toy 2 inches off the ground you ride face first?

They had one of these at the Petersen Museum in August. Wonder if it’s the same one?

Could be.
This one had like 150 miles on it, it’s probably been on display for decades.
