I wonder about production numbers on those. I’ve run into XJs and tons of MJs in 2wd form but thought the 2wd Wranglers were a weird fleet only thing.

I see an ADOT Wrangler every once in a while that is about two inches lower than normal running really small wheels and tires. I have no idea why they have it.

Who ever built that thing needs slapped. Lift, Rock sliders, Bumper with stinger, Knowing that there is a rear bumper and tire carrier on the back, it just makes me sad. The only saving grace is the shackles to pull this thing out.

With that said, the sad part of this is that this wrangler has seen more off road than most.

2wd RAV-4 makes sense. If you want a 2WD 4Runner may I show you the entire array of car-based crossovers that make way more sense than the 4Runner if you don’t want the off road capability
