My wife has fallen in love with the Infiniti QX60.
She wants AWD, the Premium and Premium Plus tech packages, and Driver Assist. She will forego Deluxe Technology and Theater packages to fit our budget.
Now I have to get my price.

Saw that coming from your earlier posts. My neighbor had an odyssey for years and surprise fell in love with the infiniti. Appears it’s quite the luxury sleeper.

This doesn’t surprise me. Good luck getting the price and joining the multiple cars from one make club. Honestly it does service nicer to have just one dealer to go to. On the other hand, since they share a motor (IIRC you have a 3.7 Q70L), sometimes you’ll get two recall notices in the mail at once ;)

It’s not bad.
This is the road we took at Mono Lake, but it got far bumpier and more rutted later on. The QX60 handled it like a champ despite needing a run-up and some rut-dodging occasionally (not bad for my dad’s first off-road experience either). Sure it’s a bit boring but I’ll never forget travelling in leather-lined luxury across the middle of nowhere! Also, not sure if just our rental or all QX60s but the CVT is somewhat drony so make sure you’re ok with it before you buy.

The resale on these is atrocious, you ought to use that to your advantage and go for the full beans model. I personally dislike these but Murica and all that stuff.

That’s one pretty pathfinder.
You’ll get used to the electric power steering whine soon enough. Don’t worry you don’t hear it from the inside.
I had no problems at all with my pathfinder. The CVT is what scared me at first, but now they have a 7 year warranty.
Only thing I don’t like about the newer CVTs is that they gave them fake shifts since the 2015s.
