This one’s quite a bit different from other dream garages. As only half of your picks are vehicles! *Cue dramatic music.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
So commie bastards (or whatever your country’s ideological rival is) come dropping down on your town/city. You’ve deiced to flee and join the resistance in the hills (or whatever notable terrain feature is near you.) Not only will y’all need to survive out there, but also wage guerrilla warfare against the invaders! So make your choices wisely.
1) Primary Vehicle
This will be your only “car” you get to chose. The only restrictions are that it must be no bigger than a full size pickup (F-150 etc) and it must be sold in your country.
2) Secondary Vehicle
You’ll also get to bring a second vehicle, however this one will be must smaller. For a rule of thumb it’d have to fit in the back of a pickup. This would be something like a dirt bike, snowmobile, mountain bike, skis, or anything else. Get creative!
3) Firearm/Weapon
Self explanatory. Must be used for hunting and fighting. However there’s a couple of restrictions here. It must be a civilian weapon and no AR-15s or other variants of the M4/M16. Also Europeans or CA/NY residents you get to go by the Texas definition of civilian weapon. So basically anything semi-automatic, even a copy of a military weapon. Just keep in mind a 5.56 might not be best choice for hunting deer or larger game.
4) Military Support
So you’ve established your camp and have made contact with the military. Although they’re unable to send a force to liberate your town, they can send you one of the following soldiers, all of whom will have their own supplies and equipment.
A) Sniper
B) Combat Engineer (Fortify and improve your camp)
C) EOD guy (can defuse and build IEDs)
D) Mortar team
E) Drone w/ operator (Recon only. No weapons)
F) Guy with rocket launchers (Can destroy aircraft and armored vehicles)
PS: Don’t worry about any of this if you though the remake of Red Dawn was better than the original. Because you were killed in the invasion :p

Well if this happened in backwater small town as per the movies, then you need an old ford truck or a grand am for the car
for the secondary vehicle -WR250 or similar small 4 stroke dual sport. easy to get gas, easy to get around, fast and nimble.
Weapon? Whatever I could get. a rifle seems like it would make the most sense. a Henry Big Boy might be a good blend between punch and speed, plus ammo should be relatively easy to come by
I think I would take mine in .357 mag, or .44 mag
for the military, obviously the IED guy. That guy is going to cause the most trouble for the most people.

1) Give me a 6.2L Ford Raptor for all-around capability, space, and speed with a bed to haul stuff. But if 70-series Land Cruiser trucks were sold here, I’d have one of those.
2) a DRZ 400 or similar small & capable dual sport. Not a 2-stroke,noise and smoke draw too much attention. I’d like a mountain bike because I’m an avid rider, but the need to get up hills quickly and carry stuff gives the nod to the motorcycle.
3) I don’t know too much about specific weapons, but given who our “enemies” are and what they use, it’d be nice to steal and use their standard AK ammo, so some kind of rifle that can fire 7.62s.
4) I’m inclined to take the sniper, because not only could they wreak havoc on the enemy’s morale and take out high value targets, they could train up others.

A vehicle will only make you a larger and more vulnerable target.
As far as weapon, you’re going to want stopping power, reliability and venerability. Meaning you’re going to want something .30 cal (.30-06 - great round but hard to come by in a FUBAR situation, 7.62x51mm NATO oustanding round somewhat easier to come by, or if you are ballsy you could go for the big boy round 7.62x54R used in the Mosin Nagant)
My personal pick would be a Springfield Armory M1A full length barrel as it is something that won’t draw too much attention, is damned reliable, and easy enough to shoot when wounded.
Plus you could add something like this to it:

1. ATV or some quad. Theres about a billion of them in my neighborhood. Obtaining shouldn’t be hard.
2. Horse. See previous answer. Also doubles as food.
3. Your rules are stupid. I already have two AR15s and that’s what I’d use. Plenty of smallish game that the .223 is capable of downing in my area. And the ammo is everywhere. Plus chances are I could find compatible mil spec pieces around.
4. EOD. If we’ve learned anything asymmetric warfare is the only chance in this case. Make it painful.

Vehicle: GMT400 K2500 7.4L 4x4
Secondary Vehicle: I’d take a mountain bike, no fuel, good range, silent.
Weapon: Springfield Armory M1a .308 National Match with Unertl MST-100 10× Scope. Up close far away, the round is powerful enough to stop a moose. I’d also prefer a Glock 17 as my sidearm.
I would probably take the heavy weapons guy. No so subtle, but RPG’s have many uses for asymmetric warfare.

The G3 is good, it just isn’t as good as an M1A. The G3 main body is stamped and bolted together. The M1A has a forged receiver and is bedded into the stock. The gas operation is more robust than the delayed roller blowback style of the G3. The M1A is one of the most accurate rifles in the world (not that the eventual PSG-1 variant of the G3 main design isn’t a great sniper rifle) and has been in service in some form or another since 1959.
