One popped up for $800 in running condition on the local Craigslist. Naturally aspirated, manual trans. Looks to be slow as a snail, but it is a small, light-ish, RWD liftback.

I think they had 3 engines? Some bad NA 4cylinder, a CA18DET, and a VG 6 cylinder. If i remember the 6 cylinder ones frequently have injector problems.

Pretty sure this one’s the CA20DE or whatever the NA I4 is. Like 105 HP / 130 lb-ft. 0-60 eventually.

They’re neat cars, although it looks like Nissan took the AE86 Trueno and just stretched it a bit. Then again, most 80s sporty cars look pretty similar.

looks a bit like an AE86, but far less well known. still, they’re pretty cool. numbers that got sent to the US were pretty low iirc, and most survivors are pretty far gone at this point. Not much else I know other than if it’s in decent shape GET IT PLS

Honestly, real world i’d almost prefer that to an old turbocharged 4 cylinder or a 6 cylinder that baaareely fits.
Its never going to be fast, i think funnish and reasonably reliable is the best you should be hoping for anyway. I think they’re pretty cool. I ran a lemons race last year in a 105 hp RWD M/T car. Fun as hell.
