It is surprisingly comfortable on the highway. I’m not tall, but I do have broad shoulders and I didn’t feel crammed in. Seats have a good shape to them and the ride is definitely passable, though it doesn’t glide the way my car does. I can’t attest to the back seat, but I’m guessing it would be unpleasant to have four tall adults in the car.
In other news, I’m back at college and once again without a car.

So far I’ve just ridden in other people’s cars. I’m not a huge fan of asking somebody else to borrow their car unless it is an absolute emergency. I would be too worried that something would happen to it on my watch.

It’s not exactly ideal for the commute back and forth, it barely has a working heater, I don’t trust people not to vandalize it, etc. It may happen eventually but not quite yet. Also, it’s insured as a collector car, and if something happened and the insurance company found out I had it at college bad things would happen.

Well, when you’re not 21 and don’t do fake IDs, driving people to bars in their own cars doesn’t really count as borrowing them. I never really asked to borrow peoples cars, usually rides. One of my roommates had a shitty Pontiac Grand Am GT, and I was pretty much the only person he trusted to drive it.

The pedal response is a bit dreadful. Steering is on the light side with no feedback, but it is direct and I like the feeling of the wheel itself.

Ahh the insurance thing makes sense. My old SC had no working central stack at all though, the heater was the cut off exhaust right below the center armrest. Worked everytime! Melted some food though too.

Have a friend that has a black one - super nice seats, but I’ve never personally driven it. He likes it - actually, he likes it quite a bit more than his Forester XT so it can’t be terrible.

I was wondering how these are.
I considered one around the time I got the Fiat, as a local auto broker had super cheap lease deals at the time (0 down, $209/month). The broker didn’t have any to test drive of course, and my local dealer didn’t have one in stock to test either.
