At one of the local used car lots. 2004 M/T with 85k miles. Those wheels and that color are absolutely amazing. They want $19k though, which is ridiculous but this car is totally #goals for a couple years from now. Might see if I can get a test drive because it’s been ages since I drove a C5.

It’s a very nice shape indeed. I wouldn’t go as far to say it’s timeless but it is certainly understated and elegant like its contemporaries the Jaguar XK or Ford GT

I paid $18k for a 2002 Z06 with 32k miles 2 years ago, and my dad paid $19k for a regular one with 14k miles. This is worth nowhere near $19k.

Also, those wheels cost about $500 brand new. They’re C6 ZR1 replicas (heavy and questionable build quality) and are made in China. The factory Z06 wheels, for example are either Speedline or Alcoa wheels and are super strong and light. Find a lower mileage one and buy a set of those wheels for $500 if you really like them.

I am jealous of people who like Corvettes the amount of extremely well kept ones (Which is pretty much all of them) in the used market. But I am just not a Corvette guy.
