Kinja'd!!!

The rare Maserati K900. The owner had Maserati badges on the steering wheel and on the hood, but the wheel centers had the “K” logo.

I have so many questions, so many. It did fool my girlfriend, but you have to get up earlier than the 11am service to slide one past Nerd-Vol. That said, I just don’t understand the mind of someone who puts fake badges on cars.

Where does he go to get it serviced? If he goes to Kia or Maserati for servicing, he will get laughed at, right?

This pisses me off so much, the K900 is supposed to have Lexus/BMW emblems! Maserati badges are for the Cadenza.

Wish I could put Kia badges on a Maserati. Now that would mess with people’s minds.

I’m sure it says don’t put Maserati logos on your Kia somewhere in the bible.

honestly, if the car is nice enough on the inside to pull it off, 90% of people honestly wouldnt know the difference

Isn’t vanity one of the 7 deadly sins?

Also, doesn’t God frown upon liars?

FOR SHAME!

The irony of a person living this lie and attending church is rich. What a bum, I hope the lord smites him.

That’s a bit extreme.

My girlfriend floated the scenario that the guy bought the car used with those badges and legit thinks it is a Maserati.

The road is narrow and the gate is small...but rebadging a Kia takes some serious balls.

Oh man, I wouldn’t be able to resist waiting outside church, to see the owner walk up. As he gets inside, I’d call out loudly - “Nice Kia, bro!”

I saw the owner after the service. Older gentleman, I wasn’t about to make my spectacle of myself so soon after church.

Well, in my defense, it is a nice Kia.

I’d compliment him on his “Maserati” and judge his response. I wouldn’t want to break the guys heart if he was dumb enough to purchase a Kia thinking it’s a Maserati.

I live in Knoxville as well, and I think I remember this being posted on the local car enthusiast FB page. I’ll have to keep an eye out for it lol.

This reminds me of a time I saw a 1996 Chrysler Sebring convertible with Maserati badges all over it.
