Just got back from a dry wedding (dry because neither the bride nor groom were 21) and had myself a Hendricks on the rocks.

I had a nice Amarone just before Christmas.
It was pleasant enough, I’d of preferred a Chianti Classico though.
Interesting fact. In the book version of Silence of the Lambs, the drink he mentions with the fava beans is Amarone. They changed it in the film as they thought viewers would confuse Amarone and Amaretto.
I’m presently looking through a great website for other wines to try.
