You know there has to be at least one or two left running around in the United States. I’ve got this mental picture of that car filled to the brim with trash and being driven around by a hoarder who has neglected most services and despite it alone producing more smog than China, it’s still running around.

Shake that mental image from your mind. I know of one with tired paint but pretty much rust free, clean inside and out, mechanically pretty sound, being driven by a... I guess he’s around 23 year old guy into photography. Guy I’ve known since he was like seven.

I’ve helped him do a CV axle and a couple of other things. I did have to fix the ignition switch on it as well, and the expansion tank gave up a while back, so now it has one from a dead Volvo 240 we went through the pockets of a while back. That required me to make up a hose adapter for one of the lines, but it works flawlessly.
