Hah...that’s like the anti version of the foxhound. Short legs instead of silly-long legs, chunky instead of skinny (we leave food out constantly, he doesn’t over-eat), and much longer ears.

The picture is a Basset Hound and they’re more for hunting Rabbit and Hare’s. Shorter legs for easier access to warren’s ect..

Oh...yeah, sorry, didn’t think you were posting a foxhound, it just struck me how many opposites I could quickly spot. That pic is from 2015, so a little younger, but I can’t believe he’s 11. He’d still hike all day if we’d let him. (he would, then sleep for a day and a half....but still)
