I didn’t vote for him, and there is much I don’t agree with him on, but I greatly respect Obama and think he’s genuinely a good man. Godspeed, Renegade.

I saw that Clinton and Bush 43's letters to their successors were released yesterday. I really like that tradition.

One of the things I’ll remember most about him as a person is reading about how late at night he would sometimes slip out to Andrews and meet the caskets of fallen soldiers. It wasn’t something he did for exposure (he wouldn’t invite or even tell the press when he went), he did it out of a sense of responsibility. And usually he cried.
