I like how you can do engine swaps with every car now, but I don’t like how the swaps are the same generic set of engines. I mean, you can tell what the engines are supposed to be based on the specs, but I miss things like LS7 Aveos and RB26DETT Versas.

Twin turbo V12? Hmm. I’m considering the rally suspension for sure, but I honestly hate all the off-road stuff this game shoves down your throat. I do like that you get ludicrous amounts of money in relatively little time and it takes minimal grinding to buy whatever car you want.

Yeah I’m on the road 95% of the time but with FH3 it’s a little bit better.
Forza Horizon 2 was much better money wise than Horizon 3, even though 3 most of the time isn’t that bad. I grinded for quite a while actually for the 250 GTO so I could put a TT V12 in it like in FH2 but you couldn’t, which was really disappointing.

Does this game have Honda CRXes? I kinda want to get a CRX and make it AWD twin turbo with rally suspension. For me 50% of the fun of this game is buying cars and traipsing around the open world in them with ridiculous modifications, the other 50% is taking pictures. I couldn’t possibly care less about obnoxious people with accents telling me to go here and do the thing or go there and do the thing and oh look at these bonuses you got for being mediocre in a race here’s your participation trophy and pat on the back because you’re all winners.

Here we go, my problems with FH3 after, what, two hours of playing?
1. Stop babysitting me so much. I don’t want to play a game I want to dick around with cars without “HEY JAKE DID YOU KNOW THERE ARE
MORE FANS
THAT COULD JOIN AND ALSO LOOK AT THIS SUPER COOL
RADIO STATION!!!!!!
ACCENT ACCENT I’M SO AUUUSIIEIEEEEEEE”
2. The menu UI is terrible. It took an hour and a half of gameplay before I realized I could buy cars.
3. Off road getting shoved down my throat the whole first section of the game in some miserable Lamborghini Urus SUV because that’s what I was given and I didn’t know I could buy something better.
4. Disappointing number of modifications. On some cars you can add some ground effects to the front bumper and that’s about it.
5. The graphics on XBone are honestly super disappointing. Take a look at those screenshots. Looks like arse. At the very least could they have some super-realistic-knock-your-socks-off pump-up-the-graphics mode for when you go to take photos? Like, click the shutter and it renders out the scene you’ve chosen at 4k with anti-aliasing, top-quality reflections, shadows, etc. just for the picture and then goes back to something that gives acceptable performance.
6. So much rubber banding..
7. So much *traffic*. And the Drivatars, since they’re supposed to be other racers, drive so unpredictably you are inevitably going to slam right into some dude in a Holden when going around a blind corner.

1. Agreed. Many games today have way too much handholding in the beginning at least.
2. Only thing that bothers me about the menu is that sometimes when you go from one square that’s the size of two you can’t tell which one it’s going to go to. (kind of hard to explain)
3. Yeah I’m not too crazy about off roading either.
4. I wish there were more engine swaps you could do on some cars but honestly I didn’t expect much body customization from Forza, it is lacking for sure.
5. What resolution are you playing at? Game looks fine too me, even better in photo mode.
6. Yeah the internet can be an issue sometimes...
7. Don’t even get me started. What you can do, however, is start a bucket list thing and select choose a point to race too, and pick no traffic. Then you get half an hour of driving without traffic as long as you don’t go to the point on the map that you chose, which is great for trying to just drive without any obstacles. And yes, I’ve gotten seriously pissed off at the drivatars, so annoying!

I’ve been playing on XBone so I doubt the graphics are what they could be. My GTX750Ti can’t run the game for shit because it’s so poorly optimized on PC. I believe my gt is 100percentjake but I’m *rarely* on. I mostly play GTA V

I’ve got a 960 and it’s not that stable but on somewhat low options I’m getting like 50 or so fps. For FH3 I play both PC and Xbox depending on whether I want spotify in the background lol.
