Btw: I didn’t take a promotion because a friend needed it more; unfortunately they decided to hire TWO for the posistion so my dumbass, who didn’t apply, didn’t get considered. Girlfriend is all in the “what does this mean” stage. Running out of money to pay for rent. Mom’s in the hospital for broken vertebrae. Oh, and I work in DC/Baltimore and have to deal with everything going on tomorrow. Wah.
Edit to add: Evan Williams Bonded for me. I’m a Fed; only Bonded whiskies will do.

It’s been nothing but Gatorade for the last day and a half. According to the urgent care doctor I saw for all of maybe 3 minutes yesterday, it’s some sort of stomach virus. I actually had a couple of crackers for dinner this evening, my first solid food in over a day.
On the bright side I’m finally shedding those excess pounds...

Currently a Bacardi Reserve mixed with Vanilla Coke Zero. Next up is a shower and then heading out for a couple Sierra Nevadas with a shot or two of Fernet, which might not be a familiar name to most — it’s an Italian digestif. Very herbal. Also quite strong.
Anticipating that tonight might be stressful due to tomorrow, I’ve already taken tomorrow off. This way I can sleep in and hopefully not wake up to the sound of incoming Chinese missiles.
I said “a couple” but maybe “a few” might be more accurate.
