Be warned that the 2007-2010 S variants use the N14 engine which is notorious for having issues (BMW even got sued over issues with the timing chain tensioner). It is generally recommended that you avoid those cars. The 2011+ models with the N18 are much more reliable. The N18 also gets you an additional 10 hp over the N14 along with nice burbles in sport mode.
4 or 5 years from now I will probably be looking at replacing my R50 with one of the new Clubmans. They are a really cool design.
