Headers finally returned from Fabspeed. The ceramic re-coating took a week longer than expected, and I have now been without my car for over a month.

But they do look like quite the work of art.

That is art. I’m sure those aren’t cheap, so probably best to put them on a car instead of on your coffee table though.

Will you polish the inner lining of the header tubes?

The inner ceramic coating will stay as-is. Applying ceramic coating to the inside of header tubes is apparently a very crude process. Tons of paint running and no way to ensure an even application.

How about honing the inside of the header tubes so it is smooth inside?

The steel is smooth and can be polished. Not so sure about thermal coatings.
