Kinja'd!!!

Today since I get off of work early I am going to clean the interior of my Mazda. I live on a gravel road so the inside does get pretty dusty over time. What car cleaning products work the best? I have used Armor All wipes which work well, but I am going to need something alittle stronger to cut all the dust/dirt. What does Oppo suggest I use?

I use swiffer sheets to pick up all the small loose stuff. Works great on dust.

Good Suggestion, I might have to run those over first and they get the hard stuff off with something stronger.

A coworker of mine would use a diluted mix of simple green and a microfiber to clean. Then any of the meguiars or mothers interior product lines should do the trick. VLR works decent, it’s an all in one type interior product. Maybe not the best, but I’d use it over armor all anyday.

I use my shop vac to pick up dust.

I have used simple green with my old car but that might be alittle to gnarly I think I will just stop by a autostore and get something

Yeah, I’ve never done it myself, but then again, I end up using non-ammonia glass cleaner with the same microfiber towel I used to clean the glass. Then I follow up with a protectant, one of the meguires or mothers products.

With the simple green, he would dilute it a lot and wring out the towel, seemed to be a good way to go for dusty dirty. Biggest think is to get it clean before applying protectants. No different than washing before waxing on the exterior. You don’t want to grind in the nastys that are on the surface. But they have different products for cleaning and protecting. Then if you have a Costco of sams membership, stop in and grab a bag of microfiber towels, those will keep from linting everywhere you clean. Trust me, cotton towels are no bueno for interior cleaning.

I went to autozone and bought some maguiars quick detailing stuff and used a norwax rag to clean everything. It worked real well! I just hope I can keep it clean without having my friends drag a bunch of mud into the back seat.
