Butbutbutbut.... Firing pins aren’t made of zinc. It is too soft and wouldn’t be able to dent the primer.
I once saw some zinc wire that was maybe 1/4" diameter. It was so soft you could tie it in a knot like shoe laces. It’s very strange stuff.
