I’ll give them a go.

Up till now I’ve been using these guys without much success.

Kinja'd!!!

It doesn’t so much fix it as much as it draws attention to it.

This guy’s decision making makes me think he’s probably not very good but makes good money given the sheer volume he’ll find in NYC. Here’s why I say this...I’m a vendor that does interiors, mostly for car dealerships much like many of the dent guys. I’m friends with a number of them and close with one and we often discuss this kind of thing. When my PDR friends primary work car would be in for service or otherwise unavailable he’d drive his wife’s car which is usually more modest.

A) Even though it’s an older model and can be had for not much more than other cars available, it’s a Porsche...being so means it’s more expensive to own. Pulling up in a pricey car to a dealership looking for approval on the cars you’ve written up, some which may take but a few minutes to complete, may make that manager question your pricing structure and if it’s higher due to your expensive taste in cars...they do notice.

B) Look at it, it’s a filthy car. When using your pricey car for advertisement, keep it clean. It speaks to the type of care you take of things, and typically those who take better care of things take more pride in their work and care about their reputation. This guy may be good, but I’d never know because I’d never use him due to it. It’s not just dirty due to time of year, you can tell by the wheels it never gets cleaned. He also should have enough contacts with detail departments at dealerships and detail shops that doing a few jobs can get him a weekly wash and a full cleaning once or twice a year if he doesn’t like doing it himself.

Call me anal, but I think these things matter. As someone that knows the business well these are the things I notice as do others. PDR is a great business to get in to, extremely low overhead leads to very lucrative pay.

Dent, King. Long may he reign.
