Kinja'd!!!

This level comparison shot of the front ends and how much lower the facelift is.

Also, I NEED this premium rear bumper and diffuser combo for my 2017. And I know it’ll fit too. Then I can finally have quad tips!!

Kinja'd!!!

Also, jelly that all models have heat extractors now.

Kinja'd!!!

Kinja'd!!!

Another retro cue I’d like to have.

I’m liking the refresh a lot. Especially a lot more than last night, I was smart to withhold judgement I guess. I think the 15-17 has a slight edge in the looks department for the front end but I would end up with a new one just for all the new stuff alone.

That new lower hood and front end also makes visibility better. Pre-refresh was not bad once you got used to it, but I much prefer seeing out of the 350's cockpit than a normal GT.

Dual injectors, higher compression and a higher rev limit. Can not wait to see what the 5L does. And no more P zeroes on the GT PP!!!!

I didn’t realize that the facelift’s grille was lowered. Looks like the grille insert might even be interchangeable with the outgoing design.

I don’t dislike it as strongly as I did yesterday.

Quad pipes for a single turbo four-cylinder? Questionable.

I don’t like like it as a whole, but there’s details all around the inside and outside that I like a lot.I still think it’s a good looking car. Grabber Blue would set this refresh off greatly, but it’s no longer offered.

I’ve gotten use to the high hood as well, it really isn’t that bad. That being said, I wouldn’t mind it being a little bit lower. My lowering springs will drop the entire car 1 inch all around, so my front end should be as low as the refresh when installed.

I just wish the hood could be swapped, but they changed the fenders so it wouldn’t mesh. :(

But I bet the gauge cluster will since it’s all CANBUS and the sensors are there already. It’s just weather or not the harness is already there. But I like my retro gauges too. :)

The leaked photos definitely weren’t a good starting point, that’s for sure.

Diffuser looks good and so does the new hood, but I can’t say I like the new front end.

It looks good from certain, but not all angles.

I like the new front end. And it’s available in orange!

I’ll have to see one in person before I pass a final judgement though.

Looks like some kind of duct just under the headlight on the new model. I must say, I like a lot of the details a lot more than the old model, but I think the new model does not look as nice big picture. On the old model, the lines of the upper grill, compliment the lines of the lower grill, giving it a consistent look.

The 2018, I like the sharper lines, but the lines seem to repeat the upper grill rather than continue it. It makes it too busy, or too disconnected. The thing is, it’s almost a Porsche, or Audi redesign. You can hardly tell it’s been changes. It’s only by seeing this side by side that I could now go out and identify a 2018 from an older model.

Did you make that split view? Or did you find it somewhere? We want to talk about the ‘18 Stang on RFD and that would be a great shot to include.

Agreed. I think it’s just got some derpy angles, and unfortunately they were the main ones used in press photos. haha I like the new front end.

I like the new look, but it’s really subtle to my eyes, and I’m kind of surprised to read people having such strong opinions on it.

I’ll miss Grabber Blue.

I found it. But it’s on the forums and I think I saw a FP comment with it too.

I didn’t like the leaked pics that I saw yesterday, but I like the new look a lot more now that I’ve seen official photos. The all-digital instrument cluster looks great, too.

The facelift looks better. I was on the fence about it, but seeing them side-by-side convinced me. I still don’t like the overall package, but it’s an improvement in my eyes.

That first picture has done it for me, the 2015-17 front bumper is better than the 2018 IMO. That back bumper though...

Thanks! I found Fox News credited as the original source, so I’ll cite them.
