Once you are done, watch it a second time. It gets better with subsequent viewings as long as you let it marinade for a while. The soundtrack is spectacular, done by Le Matos.
Then watch some Kung Fury and Chopping Mall.
Next, go listen to Waveshaper, Dance with the Dead, Lazerhawk, Carpenter Brut, Perturbator, Scandroid, Mitch Murder, Power Glove, Robert Parker, etc
Finally, get into your DeLorean and drive off into your neon sunset.

That movie is an absolute gem. Even though it’s goofy as hell, I was totally wrapped up in the story and the characters. It’s an amazing trick.
