This is “Showtime” created by Tim Cameron. Anyone who says finesse is the best way to get over obstacles, is apparently wrong. I cannot watch this without giggling like a little girl. BAD ASS

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

That is an amazing rig.

Most folks just buy a chainsaw to remove trees.

I like this much more!

You could run a PTO off the engine to power a chain saw.

Finesse is a thing, but when you have all the power in the world and AWD and 4WS...I guess you don’t need it.

I was wondering at the wisdom of not wearing a helmet in case he rolled it. Then he rolled it. I guess he’s strapped in tight enough that he can’t hit the rollcage anyway?

That machine doesn’t appear to need any help.

When in doubt, Throttle out!

In that application, a helmet would also help protect against the very likely possibility of the front tires throwing a baseball sized rock at a very high speed into the “squishy human” spaces.

All that money on a tube chassis and motor and they cheaped out on suspension.

That thing realllly needs a better set of dampers, it bounces so much, I’ve never seen a more clear example of an under damped suspension.

I can’t imagine it being fun to get a face full of dirt and rock when the front wheels are turned and the tire is pointed straight at the driver or passenger. Some rudimentary blast shields would go a long way on this rig.

Yes. It looks painful

Isn’t most of the bouncing caused by the tires?

Some of it certainly is, but it looks like it’s more than that.

I assumed the boingy boingy happening was part of the allure of these things.

They’re light weight with gobs of power one bounce when you hit things is to be expected, when it lands, nearly bounces off the ground again and still oscilates multiple times is inappropriately valved/cheap/blown dampers.

4k lbs is light? I googled it. The average weight of one of these things is 4000 Ell Bees. Not to mention they are in the 70k price range, so one would hope that since there is an entire racing series (in TN) dedicated to these things, a person with one of the most popular (showtime is literally world renowned, in that sport, apparently) might know what he’s on about with regards to building the ride setup.

Not me though, I’m just a random keyboard troll. lol
