On top of the 2018 Mustang facelift being leaked, BMW unveiled their refresh to the 4-series line. The changes are typical BMW LCI subtle. Juuuuuust enough to keep it fresh to live out the rest of it’s life cycle without dramatically changing the looks.
I think BMW does facelifts right. I don’t understand the need to heavily alter fascias on a car in the name of keeping it fresh. A lot of the time the new fascias clash with usually unmodified bodywork imo. Some light alterations to the lights, new wheel designs, and some light interior work and you’re golden.

Maybe there isn’t a difference. I once handed a coworker two identical photos and asked him to spot five differences. I stole the idea from The Office.

Are there actually any changes besides the inside of the headlights (not even the shape)? They went from Xenon to LED on this and the 3-series, but that one at least had some sheetmetal changes. This looks identical to me.

Why do all BMWs have those thin sheetmetal, pouty-lipped, crinkly faces? They left the one thing that needed changing completely untouched.
