I’m not sure I’m 100% on it. The front end is VERY polarizing. I like the heat extractors on the hood though; very retro inspired. The grille looks like it can fit more body parts, the headlights have an Audi-shape to them, I don’t know where the fog lights are, and the taillights are neat too.
They better have one make a surprise appearance at NAIAS this week, but I like my ‘17 more from a picture perspective. But when they release official pics, if someone could render an ‘18 in Grabber Blue, that would be nice.

You know, since Ford tends to block off those ends of the upper grill, I think they’ll look better if they had fog lights to fill them up. Sorta like the RTR except that they’d be actual fog lights and not DRLs and they’d fill up the entire area rather than just outline it.

I’m still not seeing this. Can someone explain how they look alike? Both have a big center grille but that’s about it... Maybe the vertical side vents but the only similarity there is that they’re both vertical.

I didn’t like the 2017 one, and I’m not in love with this one either. I like the thinner grille, but the headlights and entire lower fascia need work.

I’ve wondered how they would update the S550, because in my opinion it looks absolutely incredible as it was on release. As a lifelong Mustang fanboy, I haven’t craved a new one since the late Fox cars to ‘93 (yeah, they’re boxy and not stylish, but they were the muscle Fords of my youth), and since these came out I’ve wanted nothing more than a Deep Impact Blue GT.
This will probably grow on me, but my initial impression is that is makes the nose look too low relative to the body, and is needlessly busy. It seems an odd cross between, say, a Jaguar XJ and a mid-90's Buick Riviera up front. That yellow doesn’t help it at all, so I’m interested to see it in darker shades. Glad to see they didn’t mess with the tail too much, that’s a masterpiece.

I swear, everybody is talking about this in the last day, and I must be broken, because other than the turn signals, they still look almost EXACTLY the same to me! 0_o Yes, minor differences in the grill and lower valance, etc, but still......barely changed? o_0
