Obvious solution here is another lightbar.

I can’t take him seriously until he tints the light bar too.

I would ask him that question. “Why haven’t you smoked/tinted the light bar yet, did you just get it?”

I’ve seen black light covers on both the front and back of cars and always wondered. Really, even over the break lights? Anyhow, always wondered what happened at night. Wow, it’s really a thing! https://www.amazon.com/Inches-Adhesive-Headlight-Lights-Vinyl/dp/B00K551F18/ref=sr_1_2/157-3583176-9487848?ie=UTF8&qid=1484606509&sr=8-2&keywords=black+headlight+covers

This guy has the right idea, though his timing’s a bit off. Those dark lenses should stay off the vehicle until he figures out the bulb situation.

I’ll admit: the darkened lenses do look kinda cool, but visibility is more important.

could use that handy big deflector, move it from the hood to directly in front of the light bar.

AND no bugs on the light bar! thats win win

#1 review on amazon:

looks awesome, low light transmittance though

Installed the 50% black tint on my car and its looks awesome!!!

HOWEVER, at night it looks like i dont even have lights on. - zero visibility at night; very low visibility with high beans on.

I always wondered how much tint you could get away with and still get the same brightness with LEDs. That guy who won Tavarish’s Jetta needs to do that. If he didn’t fall of the edge of the world, which is totally a real thing that happens to people.

I suddenly remembered about him last month and found his Kinja . Turns out, he had just posted an update, but the front page has been quiet about the whole thing since September. So I took the liberty of sharing his post to Oppo.

He hasn’t posted anything since then, but according to his Kinja’s recommendations tab, he still hangs around Jalopnik and Gizmodo. We should get him to join Oppo!

I like the look and would like to have blacked out tails on my car but I want people to be able to see my tail lights and brake lights so I have to pass on it for now.

That is almost, but not quite, as clever as tinting one’s windshield.
