Fantasy crashes headlong into reality. I fantasized about how cool this car was going to be, all 75 hp of 1976 Japanese goodness...
Would you pay $3000 for this 1976 B210?
Headlights and blinkers did not work, and every bit of rubber and weatherstripping was a mess.
For the right person, a nice project, but not for me, and surely not at $3000.
He said he had buyers from LA and SF drooling for it. Good luck, fella.

$3000 feels off by a factor of 10...

Buy it for your son and if he wants a car, he’ll have to learn how to work on it. Bonus, you get to drive it.

This reminds me of the DeMuro video where the car is worth negative $35.

I will say that I paid too much for my project. that being said, I can get all new parts for it, so 3 grand makes a bit more sense. In this condition... parts are too uncommon (and therefore expensive). I’m gonna say no.

I was thinking that for $3000 something would have to be in perfect condition: Interior, exterior or mechanicals. 0 for 3, CP.

Save for a rare Celica or Supra, that’s a Celica GTA

Wow, that’s like the PNW markup my buddy and I were discussing. He was like, “Yeah, I have comprehensive on my car, but they’d probably only give me $200 for it”, and I was like, “Dude, you can’t buy a DD-worthy running car that keeps out the rain for less than $3000 in this area. If it runs and it isn’t full of water, it’s worth three grand.”.
It wasn’t a joke.
This one doesn’t appear to be keeping out water, so it’d probably be worth $1500-2000 if it runs. But this also appears to be in CA, so it shouldn’t be worth that much.

Yep, that’s a $1,000 car at best. That’s too bad it’s so ratted out on the inside. Having had this car myself, they are incredibly easy to work on but a bad dash board would put me over the edge. Everything else doesn’t look too bad.
