I don’t mind buying new, problem there isn’t any that I really want now, namely a manual:
- BMW forces you on the 340i or M cars to get a manual, pushes it way out of my budget
- Cadillac removed most options in 2017 ATS the moment you tick manual, when I decided to get Valka they already switched over from 2016
- GT Stinger isn’t coming with a manual
- XE promised a manual but never happened
- Giulia coming here with a ZF 8HP only
- A5 Sportback most likely auto, and it’s FWD based
My short list was short to start with. I’m a simple man. All I want is a compact RWD sedan with a manual. How hard can it be?

There really aren’t many manual cars left out there. At least in the US, you can get a 330i with a stick.

Can someone please make a god damn El Camino successor?! It was the best car! Truck and car in one. Have it be a 3 seater bench seat in the cab, with a sloping rear pillar to attach seatbelts for the rear facing, fold-down, removable jumpseats.
Boom! 5 seater car + long bed truck all in one.
