FCA has cleverly engineered a system that meets the blinker requirements without annoying and costly blinker fluid. (Expect that in a few years, a WVU research team will discover that their blinker fluid-less system is cheating such that it acts differently under testing.)

Tangentially related, living in New Jersey, one of the few joys I derive from not getting to pump my own gas is pulling up to a pump and having the attendant tell me that they’re pretty sure the cap is on the other side.

That joy quickly disappears once they remove the nozzle and spill gas down the side of my car, requiring me to spend the next five minutes washing it off.
