I have a slightly unhealthy obsession with buying expensive Italian driving shoes. Things like this make me feel better about my terrible financial decisions.

Can’t, they’re sold out. Oh well... Guess I’ll have to wait until it’s back in stock.

Do they actually help with driving though? I always wondered, and kind of want a pair of Porsche Design Adidas back then.

...it’s already sold out.

I wonder if the price tag is such because someone at the manufacturer figured out that Che Guevara shirts were profitable for a reason.

Well, at least Stalin apologists aren’t the usual types of people buying these things...

The target group of buyers is probably more worried about the whole post Soviet fashion going out of style by the summer than boring things like washing clothes. Pffft... old people stuff

There’s definitely a noticeable difference, since they tend to be a lot grippier and have thin soles, so you feel the pedals better. Probably not, like, $500 worth of difference, but it’s definitely there.

My suggestion would be to get a cheap pair of ASICS Mexico 66 sneakers from Amazon. They’re about $40, but have really thin, grippy soles and feel every bit as nice to drive with as a good pair of drivers. Just don’t actually walk or run in them, because they’re terrible at being sneakers.

My suspicion is that it’s a conspiracy where nobody ever intends to by nor sell one. Rather, it’s a ploy to get us talking about Kardashians.

And it’s made of cotton. Not even your typical cotton/polyester fleece of a normal hoodie. So it’ll lose its color and shrink.

I felt they were getting back into the groove with their last two episodes, but I am still kind of put off by the show. It feels way too over done, the “communist” jokes being one of them.

I’ve subscribed to Motor Trend On Demand and I put all of my energy into Roadkill, Roadkill Garage and Engine Masters. I learn stuff and get inspired.

Jeremy Clarkson is irritating on the level of Donald Trump, but not as dangerous. The personalities on the TG remake are just plain boring. Grand Tour is way, way overdone.

I totally agree. I even thought Top Gear had gone down hill with the last few seasons while they had the guys on, although I felt they were going back to their roots with the very last season before the whole punching incident. It seemed to me it had become too much about crazy stunts. I enjoyed their regular car reviews, their junker cars, and their road trips from previous seasons as well as all the “workshop” episodes. The show felt more homegrown back then. Grand Tour is beginning to look like it’s all stunts and bad played out jokes.
